Bows and big girls

Just a quick post to say that I have been making bows for Abby and here is a picture of the ones that I made for her this weekend. I also learned something very important this weekend...Abby can get out of her crib. Now, I am not talking falling out, I am talking the past two mornings I won't hear a sound on the monitor but then I will hear her door open to her bedroom and the pitter patter of little feet as she runs down the hallway. When she gets to my room she runs around to my side of the bed and says "mornin mamma!" I LOVE IT. I don't however love the fact that apparently my little baby is growing up. I don't love the fact that I am going to have to get her a big girl bed, and I don't love that fact that I know don't know that she is safe all night and protected in her little area! I guess that is part of them growing up...but I think I need another house, a larger house, I need another baby! Wait, maybe not....but maybe. Hope you all had a great weekend!

Oh my Oh my Oh my

Tyson had a game yesterday and when he was in the dugout between innings Abby was handing him popcorn one kernal at a time. They won their game 9-7 and Tyson was 2 for 2 and had 4 outs credited to him. He had a great game and my mom and dad came up to watch him play. After the game Mimi and Pops took us to lunch at Chilis and we had a great visit! Too bad Barry is in Dallas this weekend playing in a softball tournament for the base team, he sure missed some good food and family time!Tyson at Chilis, such a cute smile!
Abby and her sweet tea, she is truely southern to her core!

I had the sunblock with me, but I failed to use it as the wind had a chill to it and the sun kept going behind the clouds...nonetheless I should have, but all in all I truely have a redneck daughter at the moment~She will survive!

Here are some pictures from tonight at the park when I got off work! We had so much fun. After dinner Abby got her bath and then when wrapped in her towel we went outside to watch Barry and Tyson playing baseball. She wanted to be sat down and as soon as she was out of my grasp she stripped off the towel and ran naked toward her daddy! It was hilarious. The neighbors were laughing hysterically and I was just like, only in the south! So precious. I am not posting the pictures that I took, however they will be saved and used as blackmail when she is older!

Play time!

The weather was so nice today so Barry and the kids went for a long walk today and when I got home we all played outside, Abby played with her soccer ball and Barry and Tyson played basketball. Abby really enjoyed watching them play ball. She is still running the house like a woman on a mission (that mission being to avoid bed at all costs)! They have started to help at daycare and she is now "old enough" to be potty trained. Now, she has been doing it at home off and on for several months now but at the daycare they are working with her now and have been for about two weeks now. They said that she is doing well and goes once a day but the rest of the time she wants to just go in there and "fush the t-o-i-l-e-t". That is how she says it. You have to stress the word toilet. She is getting so big! Anyway, enjoy the pictures and the video below. We are supposed to get some rain tomorrow so it might be a rainy day spent at the Jacksonville library. Hope you all have a great weekend! Oh, I could make some cupcakes....haven't done that in a while. Soccer ball time. On the front porch where it is safe with boards and the ball won't go anywhere.
I am always behind the camera so we managed to snag one of the ladies of the house.

Easter morning

Abby in her sailor dress and new white shoes for Easter servies! The rest of the pictures are just of the kids with their Easter baskets. I almost want to give them to the kids on the night before as to not take away from the reason why we celebrate Easter. Hell hath been defeated...the grave could not hold the KING!
Look mimi!

Abby's birthday party in Texarkana

Well, Abby turned two on March 30th so we did her birthday party this Easter weekend in Texarkana. She had lots of presants (can't wait to get that Texas Longhorns rocking chair set up in her room mom!) and clothes galore! She had so much fun! The date on the pictures is wrong as you can tell! But more importantly...look at that hair!

Happy birthday my singing princess! your father and I love you very much and are blessed every day to have you in our lives! You are a wonderful little girl and we only grow to love you more each passing day.

Spring photo session

So, Spring is in the air and Easter is just a week away so me and the kids and Barry headed to the lake on the base to see if we could get some good pics of the kids. Not much else to post, it has been a nice quiet week. Tyson finally finished up is tournament today and after two games they took fourth place. He is getting a lot more confident at the plate. It will take some adjusting I am sure as this is his first year with live arm pitching, but he is doing so well and playing first base! Today is my grandmothers birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA. We will be with my family next weekend for Easter and I am so happy. I feel like it has been forever since I have seen them. Have a great week.

My favorite one of the day!
